By using LetterLab’s UK letter writing service, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

1. Service Scope 

  • LetterLab provides custom-written letters based on the information you supply.

  • We do not provide legal advice, and our letters should not be treated as legally binding documents.

  • Our services are intended for communication and informational purposes only.

  • While we aim to produce clear, persuasive, and effective letters, we cannot guarantee specific results or outcomes.

2. Client Responsibility

  • You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and truthfulness of the information you provide.

  • LetterLab does not fact-check information and accepts no liability for false, incomplete, or misleading details.

  • You must not request services that are unlawful, defamatory, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate.

  • LetterLab reserves the right to refuse service where information provided breaches UK law or professional standards.

3. Revisions & Refunds

  • Each service includes the number of revisions stated at the time of purchase.

  • Revisions apply to adjustments in style, tone, or clarity, not full rewrites of new content.

  • Revision requests must be made within 7 days of receiving the initial draft.

  • Refunds are not available once work has begun, except in cases where LetterLab cannot deliver the agreed service.

  • LetterLab is not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our control (force majeure).

4. Payments

  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe, a trusted third-party provider.

  • Stripe is fully compliant with UK financial regulations and uses encrypted transactions.

  • LetterLab does not store or have access to your payment information.

  • Services will commence only after payment has been successfully processed.

5. Liability

  • LetterLab is not liable for the actions, responses, or decisions of third parties in relation to your letter.

  • Responsibility for how our letters are used rests with the client.

  • We accept no liability for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses linked to the use of our services.

  • Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is strictly limited to the value of the service purchased.

6. Confidentiality

  • LetterLab respects your privacy and complies with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

  • We do not share your personal details or letter content with third parties, unless required by law.

  • With your permission, anonymised examples of letters may be used in our portfolio or marketing.

7. Automated Assistance

  • While every letter is written and reviewed by a professional, some elements of the process may include automated assistance to improve efficiency.

  • Automated tools are never used to share personal data externally.

  • All work is human-reviewed to maintain accuracy, clarity, and a natural tone.

8. Service Acceptance

  • By placing an order with LetterLab, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

  • If you do not agree, you should not use our services.

  • These terms may be updated from time to time, and continued use of our services will be treated as acceptance of any revised terms.
